Meet the Owner

If you want to learn more about the heart behind Windy Roots Boutique, you've come to the right place. 

Let me first start off by saying Hi, I'm Alexis! The blonde gal behind the counter, and occasional human mannequin on the website. My roots run deep in Seville, Ohio, where I spent most of my childhood showing livestock and advocating for the agriculture industry whenever possible. I just recently graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Agriculture Science [which is totally unrelated to what I do now, but my parents raised me to always finish what you start so that is exactly what I did]

I am a people person, huge foodie and die hard plant mom. I love expressing my style through home decor, accessories and clothes. I occasionally share my latest projects, recipes, and inspiration while incorporating my personality and two-sense [whether you asked or not]

I have always wanted to share my creative style with others in a way that empowers them and makes them feel beautiful. Apparel is a way of expression that we love, a way that we make our memories. Windy Roots Boutique is a little shop you can come to when you need the perfect addition to your wardrobe, whether it is special occasion or just a day running errands, my mission is to empower you while you do it. 

I truly believe that life is about spending your years with people you love, doing the things you love, fulfilling your deepest passions, while falling more and more in love with yourself each and every day as you grow. When you do all things with love, you live your life with so much purpose and meaning, and that’s what makes a life worth living. I promise to bring you all the unique apparel, accessories and unique pieces to help you write your story + chase your passion.
